PowerPhotos 2.7.6 restores full copying, photo deletion on macOS Sequoia 15.3
The macOS 15.2 update included some major changes that restricted PowerPhotos capabilities when dealing with libraries other than the system photo library, including some limitations in photo copying, the inability to delete photos from a library from within PowerPhotos, and a few other things.
Apple has now released macOS 15.3 which fixes the problems PowerPhotos experienced on 15.2, and restores its previous capabilities with non system libraries. It’s recommended that all PowerPhotos users currently on macOS 15.2 update to macOS 15.3. That can be done by selecting System Settings from the Apple menu, then in the General section of system settings, go to Software Update and you should be offered the 15.3 update.
You’ll also want to update to PowerPhotos 2.7.6 to restore full functionality on macOS 15.3. You can do so by using the “Check For Updates” menu item when running PowerPhotos, or by downloading the latest version from our website and replacing your existing version.
