PowerPhotos 1.5 now available with support for macOS Mojave
I’m happy to announce the release of PowerPhotos 1.5 today, with support for macOS 10.14 Mojave. The most visible addition to PowerPhotos 1.5 is support for Mojave’s new dark mode, which I really like and have been using all during the Mojave beta period. PowerPhotos 1.5 also fixes a couple important bugs that would prevent being able to do merging or duplicate searches on Mojave, support for Photos version 4.0, and a few other miscellaneous bug fixes.
This update is free for all PowerPhotos users and can be download either using the “Check for Updates” menu item within PowerPhotos itself, or by downloading the new version from our website. PowerPhotos 1.5 requires macOS 10.13 or later.
PowerTunes and PlistEdit Pro will also be updated soon to fully support macOS Mojave (the addition of dark mode support being the most significant change), but the current versions should function fine with Mojave for the time being.
iPhoto Library Manager will not be updated to support macOS Mojave. With iPhoto having been declared dead by Apple for over 3 years now, I’ve decided it’s not worth the effort to continue updating iPLM for future versions of macOS. It will still be made available for use on older systems, but won’t be receiving any future updates.
